Sporadic writing this summer
and rough, working hands
not how I'd pictured it
but it's all good for me.
I like to sweat on floors
in fabulous homes
watch rich kids coast up
in their Lexus SUV's.
So interesting to see this city
one house at a time
a tourist in my own town
on a working visa.
When I see it all done
looking just right
I love the feeling
of accomplishment.
